Experience Design & 360 Video
Assisting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or anxiety disorder in taking the first step towards a new career through the aid of Virtual Reality (VR).
2022/2023
Key Role
The CTI project aims to help people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or anxiety disorder in taking the first step towards a new career through the aid of Virtual Reality (VR). During the year that I was part of this project, I was responsible for designing, recording, and creating interactive 360-degree videos that will be used by individuals with ASD and/or anxiety disorders to improve their chances of success in finding a new career.
Development
To create these videos, I used a 360-degree camera, and I modified a bicycle helmet into a 360-camera helmet for the project, allowing people to wear it for a more immersive VR experience. After processing the recordings, I made them interactive using a program called WarpVR. In the image below, you can see how visual programming is used to make these recordings interactive for a Virtual Reality (VR) experience.
Organization
In addition to the production, I collaborated with various organizations and companies such as Aventus, Lucrato, Saxion, and UWV. I maintained regular communication with these organizations to ensure that the videos met their requirements and that the Virtual Reality (VR) experience met the end users expectations through co-creation sessions.
